Bokaria began his career in the late 1990s with a vision to redefine the events landscape in Kolkata and Eastern India. In 1999, he founded Moksh Events, which was incorporated as Moksh Events Pvt Ltd in 2001. Over the years, the company expanded into destination weddings, MICE planning, celebrity management, and global entertainment solutions.

Moksh Events and Moksh Weddings have managed social and cultural events, corporate conferences, large-scale exhibitions, and international destination weddings. Bokaria also launched Kolkata’s first flagship fine-dining pure vegetarian restobar, 1000BC. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the initiative served over 70,000 meals in collaboration with the Kolkata Police.

He is the founder of the Global Events & Wedding Convention (GEWC), created to promote the global destination wedding and events industry. He is also a founder member of EEMA, India’s apex body for events, and an active member of industry organizations such as CII and FICCI.
